What Is The Best Browser To Download

A web browser is like a door to the world wide web. There are many different browsers available. All of them are solid options, but you might get more mileage out of one over its competitors depending on your needs. Don't be afraid to try new browsers out. Many people don't try new browsers because they don't like the process of learning how to use a new browser. However, once you've figured out the ins and outs of a new browser, you'll be wondering why you didn't make the switch sooner. Here are the best browsers you can use in 2018.

1. Mozilla Firefox

Firefox made a comeback with an update called Quantum. The new Firefox is light years ahead of its previous incarnations in terms of speed and security. The newly redesigned user interface has compelled many people to make the leap of faith to Firefox and they haven’t been disappointed. It also features a private mode which utilizes a feature that Mozilla calls tracking protection. Tracking protection prevents requests from tracking websites which results in web pages loading noticeably faster.

2. Google Chrome

This list wouldn’t be complete without Google’s Chrome browser. It is arguably one of the top browsers on the market today. It is the most used web browser today with more than 60% market share. This is because it was quickest web browser by far when it was introduced in 2009. Its competitors have quickly caught up, but Chrome still maintains the upper hand because of the sheer amount of people who use it today. One of the most well-received features on Chrome is the profile management feature. This lets many different people use the same browser without all of their different internet history and download history getting jumbled together.

3. Opera

Opera is one of the most underrated browsers on the market today. It is a well-built browser which does everything that its rivals can do with a few extras thrown in because why not? The feature that makes Opera different from its rivals is its excellent turbo mode. If you’re using a lower speed connection such as a dial-up connection, this feature alone makes Opera a must have. It compresses web traffic and routes it through Opera’s servers which makes a gargantuan amount of difference if you’re using a slow connection. It also has an integrated ad-blocker as well as a battery saving mode. Good stuff Opera.

Internet Browser

4. Microsoft’s Edge

Most people have turned off Microsoft's web browsers after their horrendous browsers of old aka internet explorer. It may come as surprising to many that Edge is actually a decent browser which is able to stand up to the competition. The main advantage that Edge has over its rivals is that it is integrated with Windows 10 quite well. It runs very well on Windows 10's tablet mode and works very well with Cortana. It is also very well optimized for the internet of today.

5. Vivaldi

Vivaldi is barely over a year old, but that hasn't stopped it from stepping into the ring with the other big browsers. It is an excellent browser created by Opera Software co-founder Jon Stephenson von Tetzchner and Tatsuki Tomita. One of the coolest things about Vivaldi is that its user interface changes depending on the color scheme of the website you’re browsing. It is very similar to Opera but what separates it from Opera is the level of customization that it offers.

No matter which browser you opt to try, you won’t be disappointed. Competition has ensured that most web browsers today are lightning fast and extremely secure.
