Bobby Wagner was born on June 27, 1990, and is the son of former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jerry Wagner. Wagner attended the University of Washington, where he played high school football from 2009 to 2012.

He played college football at Utah State and was drafted by the Seahawks in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft.

 According to Rivals.com, he was a 2-star player when he got his first NFL draft. Bobby Wagner has made millions of fans with his extraordinary playing techniques and aggression on the field.

Career

Bobby Wagner is 6 feet tall and weighs about 242 lb, and he plays as the middle linebacker in football matches. Wagner completed his schooling from Colony High School, Ontario, California.

During his school days, he started playing football for the Titans in high school football matches.

Seattle Seahawks signed a 4-year contract of $4.30 million with Wagner.

On September 22, 2013, during a match between Seattle Seahawks and Jackson Jaguars, Wagner scored a record-breaking 9 combined tackles. In the same game, he deflected a pass and intercepted an opponent.

This match cemented his place as a regular linebacker for Seattle Seahawks.

The year 2014 was one of the best years of his NFL career. He scored a total of 104 combined tackles, 3 pass deflections, and 2 sacks in just 11 games that he played that season.

Seattle Seahawks revised the contract with Bobby Wagner in 2016. The new contract was signed for 4 years of $43 million of which $19.97 million was guaranteed and a bonus of $8 million.

On July 26, 2019, Bobby Wagner became the top-paid linebacker in the league, after getting a $54 million contract extension.

During his 8-year long NFL career, Wagner played only for Seattle Seahawks. His current contract will end in 2022 and most probably he will announce retirement after that.
