Carlos Hyde Celebrity Life

Carlos Hyde, born on 20 September 1990 in Cincinnati is an American football player who plays in the position of running back.

The Beginnings

Born in Cincinnati, at the age of fifteen, Carlos moved to Florida. He graduated from high school in Naples. As part of the school team, he became the state champion in 2007 and the finalist in regional competitions in 2008.

Carlos spent the year at a preparatory military school in Fork Union. In January 2010, he entered Ohio State University.
In the first season, as part of the Ohio State Bakis, Carlos played in seven matches. In the second year, he began to receive more playing time.

In the 2011 NCAA Championships, Hyde scored 566 yards on take-out, becoming the third in the team to have achieved that score.

A breakthrough in his career occurred in 2012. After playing in ten games, he scored 970 yards and scored 16 touchdowns.

Hyde became the most productive player in the conference and received the Rex Kern Award, presented by the university to the best running team.

Carlos missed the first three games of the 2013 season due to disqualification, but in the remaining eleven games, he scored 1,521 yards and scored 18 touchdowns.

After the successful completion of his career in college, some experts considered him the best early runner to enter the 2014 NFL draft.

Professional Career

Before the 2014 NFL draft, the league noticed Carlos’s strength and sharpness, thanks to the way he could equally successfully run with the ball himself or block the opponents' defenders.

It stood out most effective in situations where the team needed to score a small number of yards, and the ability to add during the game.

At the same time, it was noted that talking about the level of elite NFL early ranks, the speed was insufficient. Hyde also experienced mobility problems when trying to avoid grappling.
He was predicted to make a choice in the first or second round, noting that he could fit into the composition of the AFC Northern Division, where they traditionally play power football.

In the second round of the draft, Carlos was selected by the San Francisco 49ers Club. In May 2014, he signed a four-year contract with the club, receiving a bonus of $997 thousand.

In the debut season, Hyde served as a backup for Frank Gore. At the end of the championship, he received ankle and back injuries, due to which he missed two matches.

In the 2015 season, Hyde scored 470 yards on take-off, scoring three touchdowns. In the 7th week, he received a leg fracture and missed the second half of the championship.

In 2016, he scored 988 yards and became the eleventh in the NFL by the average number of yards.

In the 2017 season, Hyde scored 938 yards on take-out and for the first time in his career, did not miss a single match.

In March 2018, in the status of a free agent, he signed a three-year contract with the Cleveland Browns, and the amount of the agreement was $15 million.

As part of the Browns, Hyde launched the start of the 2018 championship. On October 19, the club exchanged him with the Jacksonville Jaguars for the right to choose in the fifth round of the 2019 draft.

At the time of the exchange, Carlos was the leader of the Cleveland with 382 yards take away and 5 touchdowns. In eight games with Jacksonville, he scored a total of 189 yards.

In March 2019, Hyde was expelled from the team. The next day, he signed a one-year contract for $2.8 million with the Kansas City Chiefs. On August 31 Chiefs traded Carlos to Houston Texans.
