Craig Robinson began his career as a K-8 teacher in the Chicago Public School System. His profession in performance art started at The Second City Theatre, Chicago, during his late twenties. During the short stint at The Second City, he performed at various places, including New York and Los Angeles. His known performance during the time was at 1998 Montreal ‘Just for Laughs’ Festival.

 Robinson started appearing on ‘The Jimmy Kimmel’ show, the late-night talk show created and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, and aired on ABC.
