Dennis Schroeder, born on 15 September 1993 in Braunschweig, Lower Saxony, Germany is a German professional basketball player who plays for Oklahoma City Thunder of National Basketball Association.
Lions of Braunschweig (2010-2013)
Schroeder began his professional basketball career in 2010 with the SG Braunschweig team, the Lions Braunschweig youth team. In the first season, his average per game was 7.8 points, 2.1 assists, and 1.6 rebounds. In the 2011-12 season, he made a breakthrough gaining 17.8 points and 6.7 assists per game for 23 regular-season games.
In the 2012-13 season, Dennis played 32 games for Lviv, averaging 12 points, 3.2 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game, spending an average of 25 minutes on the court. He received the title of the Most Progressive Player of the German Bundesliga and the Best Young Player of the German Bundesliga.
In 2013, Schroeder was included in the All-Star Nike Hoop Summit match for the world team. Before playing this match, Dennis decided to run for the 2013 NBA Draft.
