Knile Davis Celebrity Life

Early Life

Born on October 5, 1991, Knile Davis is an American running back footballer. He was born and raised in Missouri City, Texas, and did his schooling from Thurgood Marshall High School.

During his school days, he showed great interest in the game and started playing as a running back for the Marshall Buffaloes team. In his early school days, people started seeing him as a great running back prospect from the Texas state.

Due to frequent injuries, he played very fewer football matches. Because of the fractured clavicle, Knile could only play 4 games as a junior and finished with 425 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns.

The luck was again, not in his favor, as he broke his ankle when he became a senior. He finished the senior season with only 33 carries for 278 yards.

He did his graduation from the University of Arkansas, where he continued his passion for football. He played for the Arkansas Razorbacks football team for 3 years from 2009 to 2012. Knile decided not to play in the final year of his college and enter the 2013 NFL draft.

Career

In the 2013 NFL draft, Davis was selected by the Kansas City Chiefs and signed a contract of 4 years. In a match against Denver Broncos in week 13 of the 2013 NFL season, Davis scored a 108-yard kick return touchdown and set a new record for the same.

Due to high ankle sprain, Davis was not performing up to the mark in the 2014 NFL season, which resulted in a drop in his records. He scored 134 carries for 463 yards, 29 kick returns for 829 yards, and a total of 8 touchdowns.

In 2016, Knile Davis was released by Kansas City Chiefs and traded to the Green Bay Packers. He was selected in the conditional 7th round draft pick by the GBP because of injuries of regular players like Eddie Lacy and James Starks. When they returned to the field, Knile was released by the Packers on October 31, 2016.

Then, he was selected by the New York Jets in 2016, but due to unforeseen circumstances, he was released the very next day. Again, Davis returned to the Kansas City Chiefs as they selected him on November 5, 2016.

But this contract didn’t last for a long time, and he was released from the team very soon.
For 6 months, Davis was playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers franchise. On September 2, 2017, he was released from that franchise as well.
