How to Cancel Been Verified
If you have an active Been Verified account and wish to cancel it, you can do so in three different ways.
The first option is to cancel via email. You will need to email customer support at email@example.com and inform them that you wish to cancel your membership and if you need a refund for any reason, you will need to explain why in the email. You need to have your 9-digit member ID on hand to include in the email. This will allow the customer support representative to access your account and cancel or find the billing details to refund your account. The 9-digit ID number can be found on the right-hand side of the Dashboard of your BeenVerified account and in your New Member Welcome email.
The second option is by telephone. You can call Been Verified’s toll-free number at 1-888-579-5910 and ask to speak to someone regarding canceling your account. According to reports, the average wait time to speak to a representative is 3 minutes, and the best time to call is at 2:30 pm. When calling the customer support phone number you will need to have the 9-digit member ID to give to the representative. The phones at Been Verified are manned daily from 6:00 am - 11:30 pm Eastern Standard Time.
The third option to cancel is using the Been Verified contact form. When you access the form page, you will need to select the reason for contacting. Here you have to select the option to Cancel Account. You will need to fill in your email, as well as a message box. You should include in the message box the 9-digit member ID, and a brief paragraph stating that you wish to cancel your account. If you are also requesting a refund, you can add this to the message box.
Once you have successfully canceled your account, you will receive a cancelation email for reference. Your login information will be retained in case you wish to restart your subscription.
If you did not receive a cancelation confirmation, contact Been Verified to make sure the cancelation is in progress. Once you receive the confirmation of your cancelation, you should check your billing info to make sure that you are not being charged during the next billing cycle. If your credit card continues to get billed for the services on the website, contact the Been Verified customer support service.
