Remember that although deleting history is a good idea, for the most part, all your saved passwords and autofill information will also be erased. This means you’ll have to re-login to all the sites you previously visited upon visiting them again.

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Click the option ‘More,' which can be found on the top right corner of your browser.

  3. Select ‘History’
  4. On the left, you’ll see a tray showing you further options. Click on ‘Clear browsing data.’
  5. You’ll see a pop-up box that will present you with a drop-down menu. From this menu, choose how much history you’d like to delete. For example, if you want to clear everything, select ‘the beginning of time.’
  6. There are other types of browsing data that you can clear other than browsing history. Select the types you want to delete from the pop-up box.

  7. After you've selected everything, click ‘clear browsing data.'

Google is a pretty user-friendly search engine – one of the best out there. While you're enjoying surfing the web on your favorite browser, always remember to clear your browsing data afterward.
