Humans have evolved from being cave dwellers to residing in houses and apartments. The homes that human beings choose to live in are a reflection of themselves. Home is a basic need for everyone. It is either an apartment, a building or a villa. As the rich keep getting richer, there is more luxury added to these homes to bring more comfort and convenience as well as a status quo. From deep soaking bathtubs and chef's kitchens to regal living rooms and resort amenities like an infinity swimming pool, spas, etc. Some of the most famous and most successful monetary people own these homes that have all this and more. Their homes are located in the most expensive real estate areas and some of them are also in a picturesque environment.

1.Buckingham Palace, London

Queen Elizabeth II owns this palace. It is technically a house fit for a queen. It is Crown property and will not be up for sale at any point. It has 775 rooms in total, 188 staff rooms, including 52 royal and guest bedrooms, 92 offices, 78 bathrooms, and 19 staterooms. The property is worth roughly around 1.5 billion dollars by Nationwide Building society.

2. Antilia, Mumbai

This 400,000 square-foot building is owned by India's richest man, Mukesh Ambani. It isn't a traditional home, with 27 stories, 1,788 rooms, 257 bathrooms, and three helicopter pads and 600-person staff to maintain this building. It is a 550 feet skyscraper that has nine elevators and six floors designated to parking his favorite cars.  Mukesh Ambani made his money running the Reliance Industries. His net worth is 23.6 billion US Dollars and his home is valued at 1 billion US Dollars.

3. Kensington Palace Gardens, London

A property on Billionaire's Row, alongside Prince William and Kate Middleton's home. Indian business mogul, Lakshmi Mittal, the owner of the world's largest steel manufacturing company is located in Kensington Palace Gardens. According to Forbes, he is one of the 100 richest men in India. His home comes with 12 bedrooms, indoor pools, Turkish baths, picture gallery, ballroom and a parking space for 20 cars. His home is valued at 89.4 million US Dollars today.

 4. Hearst Castle, California

William Randolph Hearst built this castle. He was the first newspaper investor and created the largest newspaper chain in America. It is now a heritage and tourist site. The grounds have an almost Olympic-sized pool and the casts consist of 56 bedrooms, 19 sitting rooms, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, 61 bathrooms, 127 acres of gardens, a movie theatre and the world's largest private zoo. The castle was used in the movie, The Godfather and has also hosted John and Jackie Kennedy, Winston Churchill and other famous figures. The castle has an estimated worth of a $191 million.

5. Villa Leopolda, Cote D'Azure, France.

Belgium's King Leopold II built the villa in 1902 as a gift to one of his mistresses. Lebanese banker, Edmond Safra bought the estate in 1988 and now it belongs to his widow, Lily Safra. It has 11 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, a greenhouse, outdoor kitchen, pool house, swimming pool, guest houses, and a helipad. It is spread across a 50-acre property.  Lily Safra supports foundations, organizations, and charities. This property is valued at 1.3 Billion dollars.
