Anvil Mountain Correctional Center(AMCC) is a state prison for adult inmates in Alaska. It is located in Nome County and houses both male and female inmates. This correctional center is managed by the Alaska Department of Corrections. It is a medium-security prison. Anvil Mountain Correctional Center history goes back to 1985 when it was established.

Contact visits are only allowed on weekends and Holidays. Only one contact visit per inmate is permitted in a week.
Visits by Attorney, Clergy, & other Official visitors are permitted any day of the week from 8:00 AM - 11:15 AM
Visitors must adhere to the dress code as specified by the facility. Personal items are not allowed in the visiting room. Visitors can use the lockers available in the reception area for storing things not permitted inside.
