According to the Osborn Correctional Institution history, all prisoners of the Wethersfield were transferred to the Connecticut Correctional Institution after opening it within the month of November 1963. The Connecticut Correctional Institution was renamed as the Osborn Correctional Institute within the summer of the year 1994.
