How to Get a Birth Certificate in New York?

The proof of a person’s age is needed in various situations. One is while joining the school, the other is when applying for an identification document like the passport or driving license. For this, the proof one needs to submit is the birth certificate. Details of births are sent by hospitals to the state government. The department concerned would issue the birth certificate as an authentic record confirming the name of the person, name of parents(s), and the date of birth.
