How to Find Death Records in New Mexico?
The New Mexico Genealogy Center has preserved death records of the citizens of New Mexico between the years 1907 and 1950. These records are not public records and are thus, not available for just anyone. The Center also sorts the files by the different counties, in addition to sorting them by dates. In case you don't want to fill the application form, you can send a letter to the Vital Records Division, New Mexico Department of Health, with information regarding the deceased person including his or her name, date of death, city, and country of death, his or her social security number if you know it, your relation to the deceased person, your name, and signature, the purpose of making such a request, as well as your mailing address.
