Britt Meyer Gun Charged with Assault, Florida Crime News
Florida - 56-year-old Britt Meyer was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill after a reported road rage incident. According to authorities, the incident took place Friday afternoon outside of Meyer's restaurant.

Meyer allegedly pulled out a pistol and an AR-15 at a man in the parking lot after a quarrel between the two. According to the man's wife, he got into an argument with Meyer after they pulled into the restaurant's parking lot and tried to do a U-turn.

The man who was allegedly assaulted - Jamie Daugherty, claimed there were children in the car when Meyer pulled out the weapons. Deputies that arrived at the scene said they found a loaded rifle with 30 rounds in the magazine and took Meyer into custody.

After the charges against him were filed, Meyer released himself from jail for a $5,000 bond. As of now, it is not clear if Meyer has a layer defending him, but a criminal record has been opened. It is likely that Meyer will not be allowed to buy weapons under Gun Laws in the US, and his records will become public records.

Other people will be able to read them and find out about the gun charges brought against him. Such access to public records can save lives in many cases, and people can discover valuable information about others thanks to them.
