The charge for a single certified copy is $20 and $3 for additional copies. Payment via debit and credit cards are not accepted.
It is important to carefully read the instructions on the application. If you are not an immediate relative of the person listed on the birth certificate, you may obtain a certified birth certificate copy under the following conditions:
1) You must carry a notarized and written authorization which clearly states your relationship with the authorizing person whose name appears on the birth certificate; or
2) If you can provide proof that there is a legal reason behind your request.
