Adam Parrish Celebrity LifeAdam Parrish Wainwright is a Major League Baseball (MLB) starting pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, who is more popularly known as "Waino" or "Uncle Charlie". He was born in Brunswick, Georgia on August 30, 1981. He was an athletic and scholastic champion during his high school years at Glynn Academy, Brunswick. His fastball over 90 miles per hour already saw a place for him in the future baseball scene.
The same year, the St. Louis Cardinals procured Wainwright in an exchange that gave outfielder J. D. Drew to the Braves. Wainwright made his MLB pitching debut for St. Louis on September 11, 2005, against the New York Mets.
He has managed to secure numerous top-ten finishes in strikeouts, earned run average (ERA), walks in addition to hits per inning pitched (WHIP).
In the year 2014, Wainwright made history by becoming the first pitcher in Major League to post 9 of his initial 18 beginnings with 7 or more innings pitched and zero earned runs permitted. In his profession to date, he has pitched in three All-Star Games and has a number of awards under his belt.

Wainwright's sinkerball is thrown in the 90-92 mph range, has less arm side run than regular and somewhat below-average velocity. He additionally throws a decent amount of cutters 84-88 mph and curveballs 73-77 mph, which has sweeping glove-side development, sharp descending nibble and somewhat beneath average velocity.

Wainwright, who is also a fan of Saturday Night Live, aspires to host the show in the future. This also led him to his acting debut in 2016 as a nerdy guy in the dramedy "Proximity", which was shot in their local St. Louis territory and was the brainchild of director Dan Steadman.
He has four daughters and an adopted son with Jenny Curry, whom he married in 2004. He is an active member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. In 2011, he had an ulnar collateral ligament damage which necessitated Tommy John's surgery (TJS) causing him to miss about the whole MLB season.
