Early Life and Career

Danuel attended Hightower High School in Missouri City, Texas. As a junior, he averaged 13.9 points, 1.5 steals, 1.1 blocks, 5.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game. In his senior year, his averages increased to 26.0 points, 1.3 blocks, 6.2 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 2.1 assists per game. He was ranked 15th in the 2012 class by ESPNU. House chose to continue his college at the University of Houston.

In his college career, as a freshman, he played 33 matches and started in 27 of them. he averaged 12.4 points per game. Which was lower than his junior year in high school. He was named C-USA Freshman of the Year.

After graduating from the University of Houston in the year 2014, House joined Texas A&M University. He missed the first three games in his freshman year and received an NCAA waiver allowing him to play for the Aggies in the 2014–15 season.

He was waived by the Wizards on March 1, 2017.

Danuel signed with Phoenix Suns On December 8, 2017. His contract ended on February 23, 2019House put up his first start in the NBA against the New Orleans Pelicans on April 6th, 2018.

House re-joined the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and played eighteen games. In these eighteen games, he averaged a team-high 20.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.3 steals and 2.8 three-pointers. On November 26, 2018, the Houston Rockets announced that they had called up House from Rio Grande Valley Vipers, but on December 4, Houston Rockets announced via twitter that, he was waived. He went back and forth between Houston Rockets and Rio Grande Valley Vipers with two-way contracts between the two teams. He even reduced a deal from Houston Rockets once.

On March 15, 2019, Danuel played against Phoenix Suns as a starter and on June 30, 2019, he agreed to a three-year, $11.1 million extension with Houston Rockets.

 

Conclusion

In his NBA career, he played a total of 63 matches out of which he only started for 16, averaging about 22 minutes per game. His NBA career average is 8.2 points per game.

House was an honorable mention in the Associated Press's NCAA Men's Basketball All-Americans in the year 2016. He was awarded First-team All-SEC in the year 2015 and Second-team All-SEC in 2016. He was awarded C-USA Freshman of the Year and C-USA All-Freshman Team both in the year 2013.

He is currently playing for the Houston Rockets.
