Josh Sitton Celebrity Life

Josh Sitton is a retired pro-American footballer who played at the guard position. Sitton was an athlete from his young days and played college-level football for his university team for the University of Central Florida.

In 2008, he was picked up by the NFL member team Green Bay Packers in the National Draft. Josh Sitton was picked up in the fourth round of the draft.
 
His career has seen some stellar performances by Josh Sitton, thereby qualifying him for a total of 4 instances of SuperPro Bowls and also winning the XIV edition of Super Bowl.

Apart from playing with Green Bay Packers, Josh Sitton has also played a couple of seasons with Chicago Bears and a lone season with Miami Dolphins as well.

Josh Sitton has played a total of 11 seasons before retiring from the pro league with his debut club Green Bay Packers. His official announcement of retirement was made upon the 4th of December in 2019.

Sitton studied in the Catholic High School in Pensacola, Florida, where he performed tremendously and received a letter in football four times and in basketball twice.

A two-way player as a lineman on the offensive side, Sitton allowed only three sacks as a quarterback over a period of two seasons, thus making 50 tackles and six sacks as a senior defensive lineman.

He has won all-state with the second team and all-area honors with first-team awards as an offensive senior lineman.


Josh Sitton was rated lowly by the scouting networks, who rated him a two-star as a recruit. Both popular scouting networks Scout.com and Rivals.com rated him low and Sitton found himself enlisted in offensive lineman list of best in the category in the category as of 2004.

Sitton was offered a scholarship from various universities such as the University of Alabama and Nicholas State University. Josh Sitton chose the University of Central Florida for his college.
 
College career

Josh Sitton, while playing for the first season with UCF football team called the UCF Knights, played all of the 11 games of the season and was provided four direct starts at the right guard position.

In his Sophomore year, he was shifted to a right tackle position and he started all of the 13 games that season for Knights.
 
His right tackle improved game prompted the coaches to retain his starts at the right tackle position for the remainder of the college football career, a movie that blocked the advance of Kevin Smith.

Sitton scintillated the seasons as he managed a total rushed for yards at 2,567 in the year 2007, clocking by just a few yards short from breaking the ever-present NCAA single-season total rushing record of Barry Sanders (2,628) which was set as late as in 1988.

Personal Life

Josh Sitton did his high schooling together with the World Wrestling Entertainment star champion and popular wrestler Roman Reigns and they both used to play football together.

Josh Sitton and his longtime girlfriend decided to marry in July of 2016 and have been together ever since. They held there a wedding in Pensacola. Together the couple has a daughter and a son.

Josh Sitton hosts a football Camp in his Alma mater high school in order to promote young talents. He also heads a committee of Community Institutes and focuses on the readiness of kindergartens across the area.

Ever since his retirement, Sitton has been very proactive with the construction company that he owns named Bear General Contractors.

The company has specialized in all sorts of commercial infrastructure and construction. He has also been part of several improvement drives in his Alma mater.
